All Graduate Assistants (assigned to teaching, research, or administrative duties) who are in at least a 50%-appointed GA position, and are enrolled in one (1) or more graduate credit hours, are eligible for the plan. This includes 50%-appointed Graduate Assistants who are enrolled in an online graduate program and/or enrolled in online graduate course work.
Fulltime Graduate Assistants (minimum 50%-appointed) are eligible to enroll in the insurance plan at a 66.6% discount rate. After the graduate tuition waiver is posted by the department, the option to "accept" insurance will be available in the Student Center in UA Connect. Payment arrangements are made through the Treasurer's office for payroll deduction.
All other registered Undergraduates paying tuition and enrolled in at least six (6) credit hours, Graduate students paying tuition and enrolled in at least one (1) credit hour, Students in the TAAP Transitional Program taking at least (3) credit hours on campus at University of Arkansas, and Visiting Scholars are eligible to enroll in this insurance plan.
A student that is enrolled in OPT (Optional Practical Training) is eligible to enroll in this insurance plan.

The charge for Spring includes Summer. You must be enrolled and attend classes through the 12th class day to maintain our eligibility.
Students participating in the Special English Language Pathway Program are eligible to purchase this insurance plan.
Visiting Scholars are eligible to enroll in this insurance plan on a voluntary basis.
Eligible students who do enroll may also insure their Dependents, Eligible Dependents are the student's legal spouse or Domestic Partner and dependent children under 26 years of age.
